    Title

    This hand crafted bronze Chenrezig statue is a faithful reproduction of an original Nepalese bronze. Chenrezig, or Avalokiteśvara, is one of the most revered Buddhist deities in Nepal. Chenrezig is a bodhisattva, one with the highest level of enlightenment who remains on Earth to assist the everyday folk.


    Avalokiteśvara here is sitting hands together in namaskara mudra atop a lotus throne decorated with protective lions or dogs. This is an excellent quality reproduction piece with excellent carving

    How do I look after a piece from Indigo?

    Marion & Richard spent much of their early lives travelling in India and developed a shared passion for the everyday beauty of Indian architecture and antiques. Tom, their son, and now owner has been travelling to Asia since 3 years of age.

    We work with small family businesses in China & India who share our values. We go straight to supplier warehouses and workshops to check working conditions.
