    This reproduction Chinese porcelain lidded urn is decorated with a delicate trailing lotus design hand painted in a dazzling blue glaze. This beautifully decorative jar is an iconic addition to any home. 

    The lotus flower is well associated with royalty and literati. It symbolises the soul's power to emerge from the physical world to achieve enlightenment as the lotus rises undefiled from the muddy waters. 

    All our reproduction Chinese porcelain is made in Jingdezhen, the capital of Chinese porcelain production since 1004 AD. The famous imperial kilns have been sited there since the Ming dynasty (1368 - 1644 (1368 - 1644 AD).
